How We're Handling AI Generated Content

AI is a very hot potato in the world of Tabletop Gaming. We all know there are polorized opinions on the subject and we have thought long and hard about how we are to approach it.

For Our Official Art on the Platform

For the platform itself we have decided all official artwork assets will be 100% human-made. This isn’t because we are against AI generated content, we just really value the human touch and imagination that goes into the art.

For Everyone Else's Content on the Platform

AI is a new frontier, and there's no denying it's exciting. AI is a tool that has so many uses and to ban it outright would be wrong. Not every use of AI to produce a piece of content is aimed at taking money from another person. Many instance of AI being used is to enable a person to have something that they wouldn’t have paid someone else to produce in the first place.

Any content posted on the platform that includes anything generated by AI must be flagged as such using the “AI Generated Content” flag on the post creation screen. This will flag that post as including AI-generated components. Don’t worry though, this isn’t about pointing fingers at you or your content, this is about allowing you to be upfront with the community so everyone else can choose what they see.

That's why you have the ability to filter out AI-generated content from your feed - It's all about making sure you can set up your feed your way.
