Community Guidelines for Operating a Partner Page

Modified on Tue, 12 Dec, 2023 at 3:16 PM

Welcome to the Community Guidelines section for Partner Pages on our platform. In conjunction with our broader Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy, these guidelines apply to all Partner Pages. Adherence to these policies is crucial for maintaining a harmonious and safe environment on our platform.

Role of Partners: As Partners, you are responsible for nurturing safe and authentic communities on your Pages. It's important to understand that non-compliance with our policies could lead to actions against your Partner Page, including potential restrictions or removal.

Page Creation and Usage: When creating a Partner Page, ensuring that it aligns with our Community Guidelines is imperative. All content on your Page should consistently adhere to these guidelines. Any Pages violating our policies may face removal and future restrictions. This is to maintain the integrity and safety of our platform.

Naming Standards: You should choose the name of your Partner Page carefully. It must not contain any profanity or content that violates our Community Guidelines. Avoid making significant name changes that could mislead users about the purpose of your Page. Additionally, ensure that your Page's name does not infringe upon trademarks or copyrights. By choosing a Page name you confirm you have the legal right to use that name.

Verification and Representation: Misrepresenting your Page as verified or endorsed by our platform when it is not is strictly prohibited. Such actions can mislead users and undermine the trust in our community.

Restricted Content and Activities: Your Partner Page should focus on the Tabletop Gaming hobby.

Promotions and Contests: Partners must comply with all legal and regulatory standards for promotions or contests. Partners need to clarify that these activities are not associated with our platform to avoid confusion among users when conducting a promotion.

Data Handling and User Privacy: When conducting activities on your business page, like organizing competitions, you must handle any user data responsibly. Always obtain clear and explicit consent from your users before collecting any data. Be transparent and open about how and why you're collecting data. Your commitment to user privacy should be evident in all your interactions on Tabletop Sentinel.

Insight and Analytics: Adhere to specific regulations regarding data processing, especially in certain regions where data protection laws might be more stringent.

Branded Content: If your Page features content that includes third-party promotions for which you receive compensation, this must be disclosed to your audience.

Legal Compliance: Partner Pages must not promote any illegal activities or products. Ensure that all relevant laws are adhered to and include necessary disclosures as required.

Compliance with these Community Guidelines is mandatory for all Partner Pages. Failing to adhere to these guidelines can result in various actions against your Page, including its removal. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe, authentic, and legally compliant environment for all users on our platform.
